Controlling

WINPACCS Controlling enables you to take a cross-project view. This is based on all Balance sheet effective costs and income from projects in which you are authorised to read postings. Confidential posting positions (e.g. personnel costs) are only visible to users who have the right to view this data.

If your organisation uses programmes, a filter is also available which you can use to restrict all the data displayed in Controlling to one programme.

The following options are available in the navigation area :

▪In the Postings section, you can view the posting positions that are costs or income. Available are balance sheet effective voucher positions from all released closings and data packets from WINPACCS Accounting and, if applicable, partner accounting and company accounting. You can edit some of the accounting data and, for example, assign it to another budget line or split it between several budget lines. The table settings of the overview help you to filter for specific costs.

▪Use the Analysessection to analyse the data. You can configure up to two levels per analysis, e.g. to break down costs by development goal and project country over a period of time. In analyses for a programme, you can also compare expenses with a budget.

▪If controlling is restricted to one programme, the Budgets section is also available to enter target figures for this programme, which can be used in analyses.
